Orange Unified School District has changed for the better during the past five years! 

• Our teachers and administrators are staying in the district and morale is up.

• Test scores are going up at at all our schools.

• OUSD maintained its class size reduction program, even as many other districts abandoned theirs. 

• Music programs for all students are being improved and expanded.

• The school district has top financial ratings, due to careful management of tax dollars.

• Our schools are using exciting new programs to teach math, writing, science and technology.

• Nine more OUSD schools became California Distinguished Schools. 

I am proud that I played a part in these exciting developments and I am eager to continue my efforts to assure that Orange Unified achieves the quality and excellence that our students and our community deserve.
